We Love our Little Lambs!

Three and four year olds are active learners.  Classroom activities are designed to enhance every area of early childhood education.  Intellectual, physical and social development all occur through hands-on learning experiences.  Books are an integral part of the classroom, all language, pre-reading and writing skills are encouraged.  Cooperative play and working with others are also important aspects of learning.

Pre-Kindergarten Activities & Curriculum: Includes Daily Bible stories, Weather and Calendar activities, Center time with manipulatives, Art & Craft time, Story time, and Playground time. We have Weekly Music class and Chapel time. Our Preschool provides a mid-morning snack which includes a weekly cooking experience.   Our Pre-K 's use the Letter People Phonics curriculum, Watermelon Math, and the Voyages Bible stories during the week. 

Preschool 3's Activities & Curriculum:Includes Daily Bible stories, Weather and Calendar activities, Center time with manipulatives, Art & Craft time, Story time, and Playground time. We have Weekly Music class and Chapel time. Our Preschool provides a mid-morning snack which includes a weekly cooking experience.   Our Preschool 3's use Alpha Tales and Frog Street Alphabet Phonics curriculum, Frog Street Numbers, Colors, and Shapes curriculum, and the Voyages Bible stories during the week.

Toddlers and two year olds are growing rapidly.  Stimulating classrooms for toddlers and twos does provide opportunities for learning activities.  Comforting routines, loving teachers and small class size help little ones adapt to belonging to a small group.  Active exploration through play, within a safe environment, is how little ones learn best.

Mother's Day Out Activities & Curriculum: Includes Daily Bible stories and activities.  Many age appropriate toys and  manipulatives, Art & Craft time, Story time, and Playground time. We have Weekly Music class and Chapel time. Our Preschool provides a mid-morning snack which may includes a weekly cooking experience.  Lunch and rest/quiet time (required).    Our MDO 2's use the Scripture Bites Bible stories and Brighter Vision, a themed based curriculum.    Our MDO 1's use The Read Aloud Bible Stories, & Pray and Play Bible curriculums and theme based We Care for Art & Crafts.

All Classes celebrate Splash Day, Fall Fun Days, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Teddy Bear Days, Snow Day, Go Texan Day, Valentine's Day, Easter, and Bike Day.  We have community visits from the Jersey Village Fire Department, Ronald McDonald, The Mobile Dairy Classroom, and end of year picnics. 

Fun Friday Activities:  An extra day filled with fun activities including Bible stories, center time, snacks, playground, arts & crafts, music, songs, & finger plays.  Lunch and rest/quiet time included.
