Epiphany Lutheran School welcomes applicants from all over the world. Epiphany is authorized under Federal law to enroll non-immigrant students.
Very Important: Epiphany does not provide housing, host families, transportation, health insurance, or English as a second language classes for international students. Due to the age of our students, we require them to live with a relative while studying at Epiphany Lutheran School.Proficiency in reading and writing in English is required. Tuition for International Students can be paid in full or semester payments; monthly payment plans are not available for International Students. Financial Aid (FACTS Grant & Aid) is not available for International Students.
STEP 1: Completion of the Application

STEP 2: Family Interview
After we have received your child’s completed application form and fee, we will contact you to schedule a family interview on campus. Video/FaceTime/SKYPE interviews will be offered to families living beyond the Houston area. Appointments are made during school hours. The student, and one or both parents, should attend the interview. Student testing will occur during this interview.
STEP 3: Issuing the I-20
Upon acceptance to Epiphany, the I-20 will be issued to the student. This document is the basis for receiving a F-1 Visa status from the United States Department of Homeland Security. Within two weeks before starting school, the student is required to secure medical insurance in the U.S. Epiphany does not provide medical insurance.
STEP 4: Admission Decision
Upon Visa Approval, Online Enrollment is sent to the student. The Registration Fee of $500 will be due at this time. Tuition and fees are non-refundable. I-20 students are not eligible to apply for financial assistance. Please refer to our tuition and fee schedule for details regarding fees and other payments. Payments may be made by cash, check, or electronically to our payment processor, FACTS.
STEP 5: Payment of I-901 Fee
All applicants applying for an F-1 Visa must also pay the I-901 Fee. This fee of $200 is paid to the U.S. Government. It can be paid on-line at www.fmjfee.com. The family must have the receipt for payment of the I-901 fee before going to the U.S. Consulate/Embassy for an appointment. The student must also have a Sevis identification number (found in the upper right area on the I-20) before the fee can be paid. Go to the Sevis website for more information.
