Dear Parents,
I would like to share with you our Pre-Kindergarten, Preschool, Mother’s Day Out and Fun Friday
schedule for 2013-2014 school year. The Preschool will follow the majority of the Cy-Fair holidays
and weather days. Extended care offered. For more information go to www.elcsh.org.
Registration:
Registration for 2013-2014 – February 4 & 5, for school members and siblings, and church members not already in the program, 9:00 -11:00 AM. Opened to the public starting (M) February 11th
beginning at 9:00 am until the program is full. A parent or guardian needs to be present.
Classes offered:
Pre-Kindergarten: Student must be 4 before September 1
We offer one 3-day and two 4-day Pre-K classes with the option of 9-12 with l.b. option or 9-2 pm.
Ratio: 15 students to 1 teacher and 1 aide
Pre-K 3 day (TWTH) Registration $160, 9-12** Monthly Cost : $180, 9-2 Monthly Cost: $255
Pre-K 4 day (MTWTH) Registration $180, 9-12 ** Monthly Cost : $210, 9-2 Monthly Cost: $310
** Lunch Bunch offered from 12- 2:00 PM for the 9-12pm students for $8.50 daily .
Fun Friday Day Out– Ratio: 12 students - 1 teacher and 1 aide
Time: 9:00 – 2:00 Fridays Registration $90 Monthly Cost $90
Preschool 3’s: Student must be 3 before September 1 and potty trained
We offer one class each with the option of 9-12 with l.b. option or 9-2 pm.
Ratio: 13 students - 1 teacher and 1 aide

Discounts: Multiple sibling discount of $10.00/month second child & $20.00/month third child within the Preschool and Day School. Prepaid tuition discount of 5% of entire year’s tuition if paid in full by the first day of preschool.

WE LOVE OUR LITTLE LAMBS
Three and four year olds are active learners. Classroom activities are designed to enhance every area of early childhood education. Intellectual, physical and social development all occur through hands-on learning experiences. Books are an integral part of the classroom, all language, pre-reading and writing skills are encouraged. Cooperative play and working with others are also important aspects of learning.
PreKindergarten and Preschool Activities: Daily Bible stories, Weather and Calendar activities (counting, number line, days of school), Center time with manipulative: counting, sorting, classifying, painting, and fine motor skills of cutting, hole punching, gluing, name printing, coloring. Snack provided by school. Children may pour and count out the appropriate number of snack and juice for themselves. Story time enhances good listening skills, auditory sequencing, vocabulary and letter recognition. Playground activity is included daily (weather permitting). Also, once a week Chapel and Music.
Toddlers and two year olds are growing rapidly. Stimulating classrooms for toddlers and twos does provide opportunities for learning activities. Comforting routines, loving teachers and small class size help little ones adapt to belonging to a small group. Active exploration through play, within a safe environment, is how little ones learn best.
Mother’s Day Out (MDO) Activities: Daily Bible stories, center time, snack, playground, arts & crafts, music, songs and finger plays. Lunch and rest/quiet time (required).
Fun Friday Class: An extra day filled with fun activities including Bible stories, center time, snacks, playground, arts & crafts, music, songs, finger plays. Lunch and rest/quiet time (required).
All Classes: We also celebrate Splash Day, Fall Fun Days, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Teddy Bear Days, Go Texan Day, Valentine’s Day, Easter, and Bike Day. We have community visits from the Cy-Fair Fire Department, Ronald McDonald, The Mobile Dairy classroom, and end of year picnics. We cook with preschool students every week. Our party days are celebrated with games, party favors, and lunch.
